Weil Barn Fundraising Event a Campaign Success

The first Hostettler fundraiser in nearly 2 decades was reminiscent of the storybook campaigns of days gone by. Congressman Hostettler thoroughly enjoyed seeing numerous familiar faces in the large crowd that attended the $100 per person BBQ. The campaign is thoroughly appreciative of the hosts and sponsors and the Weils coordinating the event.

The theme for the night was a welcome to the Congressman, his wife Beth and family, and included many recounted fond memories of John’s principled commitment to the U.S. Constitution while serving in office decades ago. He recounted the words of the Founding Fathers and Federalist Papers during his speech routinely and addressed the billowing threat at the southern border. He further addressed monetary policy foibles by the federal government affecting inflation and recent foreign policy decisions like that of our involvement with former Soviet bloc members on the other side of the world.
